Air Force officials announced today that the following individuals will be awarded with the pararescuemen of the year awards.

The 2002 award winners are:

• Pararescue Senior NCO of the Year: Senior Master Sergeant David L. Pickering, Pararescue Standardization and Evaluation Programs, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Hickam, AFB, Hawaii.
  
  
• Pararescue NCO of the Year: Technical Sergeant James E. Clark, 720th Special Tactics Group, Hurlburt Field, Florida.
  
  
• Pararescue Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Jason D. Andrews, 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, 13 September 2002 at the USAF Pararescue School.
